We visited Agnes waters this x-mas break. It is located 6 hours drive north of Brisbane in the state of Queensland Australia. We booked a camp site with an anticipation that the weather will be absolutely beautiful and we would have a gala time. But guess what something else was planned for us and it was pouring heavy for all the four days we were there.
The last morning just before checking out from the camp site; we were sitting on our camping chairs and having a cuppa. We hear a loud but sweet screech and my friend looks up and just says shhhhhhhh come here but very swiftly without making any noise. I followed him through the dark and cloudy forest and there she was “the glory of the rainforest” - the moment, the sight, an encounter which made it all worth going through the wet 4 days without any sunshine. 
It amazes me that how can people get stuck into darkness, negativity when there is always a silver lining around every dark cloud to look forward to. I had such an insight and of course the inspiration to paint that beauty for the second time in my artistic venture.
The black cockatoo represents the power of spirit come into your life. It could be a strengthening of your own spirit and soul, or a celebration of any spirits or gods that you happen to believe in. Black cockatoo energy tends to be celebratory and can bring about empowerment, happiness and contentment.
